Lab Work
In order to get the most out of your laboratory testing, you should speak with your physician about what test is being performed, why the test has been ordered, what the results could mean for your future course of care, and how to prepare for your test.

Some lab tests require fasting (avoiding all foods and beverages other than water) before the sample collection. Knowing this information beforehand will help you schedule your appointment test at the right time; for instance, if your test does require fasting you may prefer to have your blood drawn first thing in the morning so you can eat breakfast afterward.
Diagnostic Tools
Detailed blood tests for most labs,
rapid diagnostics for infections, drug testing, and confirmation testing for at home tests.

Titer test
Measuring the levels of antibodies in a blood sample is what’s known as a titer test near
me. We’ll cover how a titer test can help determine your levels of immunity against
specific diseases and if you need certain vaccines to protect your health. Titer test are
commonly drawn when entering the Healthcare field and you do not have Vaccine
records.

Hepatitis B Surface Antibody, Quantitative: Measures the level of antibodies against the hepatitis B virus, indicating immunity from a past vaccination or recovery from a previous infection.

Measles IgG Antibody: Assesses immunity to measles by detecting the presence of IgG antibodies, typically resulting from vaccination (MMR) or a past measles infection.

Mumps IgG Antibody: Detects IgG antibodies against the mumps virus, indicating immunity due to vaccination or previous infection.

Rubella IgG Antibody: Measures IgG antibodies to rubella (German measles), showing immunity from either vaccination or natural infection.

QuantiFERON Tuberculosis: A blood test that helps detect tuberculosis (TB) infection by measuring the immune response to TB bacteria.

Varicella-Zoster Virus IgG Antibody: Determines immunity to varicella (chickenpox) by detecting IgG antibodies, indicative of infection.
Titers
Urine Drug Screen

Urine drug tests can detect drugs that have been
ingested within the last 2-10 days, making it an ideal option for random drug tests conducted by employers or prior to heading to a job site.
How the procedure works:

-
The individual being tested provides a urine sample
-
The sample is collected in a tamper-proof setting
-
The urine sample is tested and analyzed in the lab
-
The test subject or person who requested the test receives the results
-
within 48 hours with a confirmation if needed.
TB Skin Test
The TB skin test, also known as the Mantoux tuberculin skin test (TST), is a two-part test that determines if you have tuberculosis (TB):
Step 1. Injection
A healthcare provider injects a small amount of tuberculin, a fluid derived from killed tubercle bacilli, into the skin of your forearm.
Step 2. Reading
Return to the clinic 48 hours later for the healthcare provider to measure the size of raised bump or reaction.
The test indicates whether your body has reacted to the tuberculin, which can indicate a TB infection. However, it doesn't indicate whether the TB is active or inactive. Other
tests, like a chest x-ray, physical exam, and lab work, are needed to confirm active TB.
